New Year?

About a whole year. No excuses....

So about two years I've tried to become vegetarian, but I would give in after 2-3 days. But April 2015, I told myself to not give in and I've been vegetarian since now! I didn't chose this lifestyle because its becoming "mainstream", it was just a part of me that felt bad for the animals in the food industry. I've been watching documentaries about what happens and I think the third time for me, clicked.

Going vegetarian, I have lost a good amount of weight. Not saying that if you don't eat meat for 4 months, you'll lose weight, I just saying a small percentage of giving up meat guided me to eat more veggies and fruit in my diet. Instead of chicken parmesan, I would pick eggplant parmesan. I exercise more, ever since I got a gym membership. What also motivated me for the gym was because I was paying for it!

I still got a lot of work to do if I want to maintain and lose more weight that I put on in the beginning of the semester (FRESHMAN 15 IS REAL). Thank goodness we have a gym and mountains to climb at my college.

I've set a goal for myself to lose 30-40 pounds and lean off junk food and eat more fruit and veggies! Some good motivation is following vegetarian and exercising pages on instagram.

Thats it for now..update will be next month!

Keep moving forward.
